MATHS (MATH) WORD GAME

There are a lot of different words in maths that can confuse children and adults!! This game will help. ♥️♦️
1️⃣ Equipment needed – Deck of playing cards. ♠🃏
2️⃣ Print out this sheet and cut up into cards. Discuss word meanings. ✄🖨️🗣️
3️⃣ Divide the deck of cards into two. 🂧 🂴
4️⃣ Stack the word cards face down in the middle.☝️
5️⃣ Turn over the first word card eg ‘Total’.
6️⃣ After the count of 1,2,3 each player puts down one playing card each.
7️⃣ The player that either adds, multiplies, subtracts or divides (take the division cards out if children are not advanced enough – as the majority of answers will have a remainder in the answer)
8️⃣ The player that answers first wins the two playing cards and puts them in their pile.
9️⃣ The adult player has to count to 5 on their fingers before they are allowed to answer. Adults can obviously count to larger number eg 10 or 15 if the children needs more time to answer, making the game fair.
🔟 🏆 The WINNER – is the person that has the most cards at the end of the game.
